Due to exam rooms not being a safe environment for curious children, all children 12 and under must be in a stroller or car seat to go back to the exam rooms with the patient who is being seen. Children are not allowed to wait unattended in the waiting room. Your exams require full attention by the providers and having a child in the exam room can be disruptive, unsafe and could result in a unsatisfactory examination.
We are committed to giving our patients a great experience while they are here, have the highest quality of medical care possible and to receive our full attention while under our care. If a patient arrives for his/her appointment with a child and cannot restrain them, we will have to reschedule the appointment.

At Hancock Women's Center, we are very proud to introduce an amazing new program that we are offering to all of our pregnant and post-partum patients called Babyscripts.
It is an easy to use hands-on app that will guide you throughout your entire pregnancy and post partum period. The app updates daily with articles about what to expect during the week of pregnancy you are actually in at that time and continues even after delivery with helpful material about lactation, breastfeeding, personal care and more about what to expect in your post partum period.
Instead of asking Google a question, you can look for answers within this app and be 100% certain that you're getting the best information. It is especially helpful for our high risk mama's with hypertension by providing a blood pressure cuff and 24/7 monitoring. We will be able to communicate with you through email, SMS or push notifications to advise of any important instructions or information regarding our office or hospitals. All of our obstetric patients will be offered enrollment in this incredible program at no additional cost. The Babyscripts program is an extremely helpful resource that is very easy to use throughout the entirety of your pregnancy and post partum period.
